Plan of Salvation

What will happen to me when I die?

The most important question a human being must answer is this question.  In order to have confidence in your answer, you must realize a few simple concepts, and then you must take action.

Realize these FACTS from Scripture:

1. You are a sinner (Psalm 14:1-3; Romans 3:23) and sinners cannot go to Heaven (1Corinthians 6:9; Revelation 21:8).

2. You ARE NOT good enough to pay for your own sins (Proverbs 14:12; Isaiah 64:6).  Like everyone else, you need help because you cannot do it in your own power (John 15:5-6).

3. God must punish sin, but He does not want to punish you (Romans 6:23; 2Peter 3:9).

4. God has provided the ONLY POSSIBLE solution to pay for sin (John 3:16-18; 14:6).  No other religion can get you to Heaven (Acts 4:12).

5. IF you will accept Jesus' payment for your sins by trusting His death to count for your own, God will make you righteous (John 1:12; Romans 3:24-4:25; 10:9, 13).

6. You can KNOW FOR SURE that you are saved from your own sins when you completely trust in Him (Romans 8:15-16; 1John 5:13).

Take action:

You MUST, by faith, accept Christ as your own Savior (John 1:12).  It is as simple as this: begin to trust Jesus' works on your behalf instead of your own attempts to make yourself good.  Simply pray and ask Jesus to save you as you trust Him.  He WILL SAVE YOU, IF YOU TRUST HIM (Joel 2:32; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1John 1:9).

Please write us an email to tell us of your decision.  We would like to pray for you as you begin this new life in Christ.  You can grow in your faith by answering the next question: "Now that I believe, what's next?"

Now that I believe: what's next?

The instant you placed your faith in Christ, you were adopted by God (Romans 8:15-16).  Because you are His child, He gave you His Holy Spirit and promised NEVER  to leave you nor forsake you (Ephesians 1:13-14; Hebrews 13:5).  Your eternal destiny is sealed and guaranteed (Ephesians 4:30) AND no one (not even you, yourself) can take you out of His protective hand (John 10:27-30) because HE KEEPS YOU (2Timothy 1:12; Jude 24).

Now that you have believed, He desires to accomplish many things in your life.  Some of these are listed below.
1. He will teach you and remind you of the things you have learned (John 14:26) by guiding you into all truth (John 16:13).
2. He will control you if you let Him (Ephesians 5:18), and He will enable you to live godly (Galatians 5:16) by producing holy fruit in your life (Galatians 5:22-23).
3. He gives you the ability to overcome problems, becoming stronger as a result of those trials (Romans 5:3-5; Philippians 4:13; James 1:2-5).
